I e-filed my 2004 1040 with TurboTax more than a week ago now. I quickly got a confirmation that they received it, but nothing to indicate that they have sent it on (nor the code to get my e-filing money back.). I went on line to check on my e-file, and it is there with a comment(using a word I have forgotten) that nothing has been done.

When you filed your taxes, TurboTax gave you a short list of instructions. From your post, you omitted the instruction to verify that your taxes had been accepted by the IRS and your state tax collecting agency. If you return to TurboTax and complete that step, then all will be right with the world.

TurboTax has an excellent customer service department. If you continue to have trouble, then one of their customer service representatives will be able to help you. You can get their number from the TurboTax help files.
