I found some more information about this on the "News" section (http://www.cruisemates.com/articles/news/) of the CruiseMates (http://www.cruisemates.com) web site. The following paragraph appears near the middle of in the "Weekend Cruise News" of 16 January 2004.

*** Celebrity Cruises has announced the launch of a new program, Celebrity Xpeditions, offering small-ship adventure cruising to the Galapagos Islands. The 2,842-ton, 100-passenger Celebrity Xpedition will begin sailing June 11 on 10-night Galapagos sailings. Future expeditions to the Antarctica, Arctic, Alaska and Florida are in the planning stages. Active excursions ashore are a part of the new sailings. In the Galapagos, snorkeling and hiking tours will be available while on future expeditions, passengers will have the chance to drive a Hummer in Alaska, sport fish in British Columbia or attend a race car driving school in Florida. The Celebrity Xpedition entered service in June 2001 as the Sun Bay I and has sailed under charter to various European lines. Dining venues on board include an outdoor grill featuring dancing under the stars and a main restaurant serving Celebrity's five-star cuisine. For entertainment there is a gym, spa, library, lounge with live music and a roster of enrichment lectures. "Our goal is to ultimately offer a Celebrity Xpedition on every cruise itinerary, from our year-round seven-night Caribbean product to our long, exotic European product," said Jack Williams, Celebrity Cruises President and COO. Berlitz's Ocean Cruising & Cruise Ships 2004 does not list this vessel.
