I froze some leftover fresh parsley a few weeks ago. Just used some the other day and it was very close to the original fresh stuff.

Thank you. I just threw out half a bunch of icky parsley. And I don't care for dried parsley.

I'm thinking there may be different methods for best preserving different herbs. Dried oregano--awesome, dried sage, thyme and rosemary--OK, dried parsley or cilantro--nuh-uh. I wonder of your freezer method might work for cilantro or basil.
