I have an even dumber question. I've never done any spinning (see gang, there is a craft I don't do). Where do you get unprocessed wool?

Well, I have these friends, see, and they have a couple of sheep. . . .

Ok, they haven't sheared them yet.

But, you can get unprocessed (raw) wool on ebay, or better yet, "roving" for spinning. Roving has been washed and carded or combed and is ready to spin. You can get it dyed or natural. Ebay has a few hard core providers of it, and here's a few web sites I've come across in my searching.

Do a google search on spinning fibers, I'm sure you'll find more. I was looking for equipment, not fibers, when I found those sites.
