I have both retirement funds and non-retirement funds invested in the Fidelity Monitor (www.fidelitymonitor.com) income model. The Fidelity Monitor advises only on Fidelity funds. The income model is a currently a mix of 5 Fidelity Bond Funds and strives to provide a 4% income stream plus some gain in bond value. Last year, the income stream was 5%. I'm not pushing Fidelity, it's only that the employers that I worked for offered their funds through a 403B plan and I have been pleased with the results and the service that Fidelity has provided over the many years that I have been investing with them (since the 1970s).
