I have found that Real Estate makes up 6 times my salary. Did having Real Estate figure into your FIRE Calculation? I am drawing income on some of this, but my primary residence provides shelter, not income.

Primary home: No. I will need someplace to live, and don't plan on selling this house, or renting it out.

Investment real estate: Yes - it's an investment. That said, you have to realize that it's a illiquid asset with high selling costs, so it's best to offset the asset with a 'selling cost liability' account, in addition to any mortgage.

Stocks and cash make up the other 6X salary. Did you have a specific target? I usually read that at 8-12X salary FIRE is possible.

I actually use a figure of 25 x expenses, rather than my salary. Depending on how much of your salary you save/invest vs. spend - a figure of 8 - 12 times salary could be feasible.
