I have looked at Papa John's for a while, and I believe that it is a great company. However, I do not believe that it is a Rule Maker yet. First off, it is a more recent entrant to the market than competitors like Pizza Hut or Dominos. It is making great strides in establishing its brand, as well as making better quality pizzas than the others. It has a big advantage in that all it sells is Pizza(and breadsticks). It does not mess with wings, salads, etc. One thing I have noticed about the Comapany is that they seem to target college towns as top candidates for new restaurants. I have noticed that Papa John's is the most popular pizza at schools like UNC Chapel Hill, Wake Forest, Notre Dame, and here at Cornell. Has anyone else noticed this strategy, because I think that it is brilliant.
