I have puzzled over this particular issue for a long time. How can someone who is anti-choice and calls themself pro-life also be pro death penalty. I don't get it. Maybe someone out there can put together a logical argument for maintaining both views, which seem to me diametrically opposed.

I have a name for these people: pro-birth.

According to the tenets of my religion (hey, if the loonie-right can do bring that into debate, so can I) you CANNOT call yourself pro life and still support capital punishment. Life is life is life.

Then again, some of these crackpots are the ones who came up with the oxymoron "justifiable homicide." It seems that those who scream the most about morality have the least.
