I have set up a raid array before, but it wasn't my boot drive. Still, they should be very similar. The big caveat I recall is that you must load a raid driver and tell Windows what you're trying to do BEFORE you install the OS. There may be other ways to go about it, but that's what I remember from the installation sequence.
