I have started investing in MLP's. I seem to have a good process for selecting investment/trading ideas, but my problems have to do with lack of funds to participate in each to a substantial amount and always believing there is something better to be doing with my money.

With MLP's I have forced myself to be disciplined. I am very afraid of the tax consequences of selling which in turn forces me to not sell in panic or with a small gain just to get out and use the funds elsewhere.

Probably not the best strategy but for now that is what I am doing. Its working inthe sense that I have not sold despite pretty substantial declines. I just hope Congress does not decide to change the the tax codes on them.
