I have started saving as well I have 200 per check that goes into a savings account at the credit union at my job. the balance goes into my checking account. I consider the money in the credit union as a deduction from my check and I have not touched it in three months. I have saved $1200, I have also started investing, all of my bills are current, and I am paying an extra 100 on my car loan. My goal is to get me car paid off in three years( that is the only debt I have). it feels really good to say that I have money saved and I don't need it for anything.

Hi geah!

It sounds like you've got a great plan going. The fact that you're paying yourself first is very Foolish, and something that should be the goal of everyone!

Keep up the great work!

Tony
