I have the same question. I feel like Visa is so much more popular and with the Costco deal and the recent stock split, I am leading toward Visa. They have the same small dividend yield and I think both are very safe bets. Although they are different companies, it seems they are treated similarly in the external market from a consumer usage standpoint.

The biggest differences I would imagine come in how the companies run internally and what they do with the cash which I'm not sure about.

I'd love some input on this as well and hope someone can help shed some light on the biggest differences between V and MA.
