I have used Quicken for the past 4 years; gets better with every Version; I use it as a checkbook, for electronic bill payment, Portfolio (Stock and Mutual Fund)tracking, budgetting and forecasting; it has all the Financial calculators you may want; balancing a checkbook used to be a BIG hassle, but now it's almost fun :-) I defenitely could NOT manage without it anymore. Updating your Portfolio Value is free (just click a button).
I am not familiar with MS Money; MS tried buying Quicken few years ago (and that tells you a lot), but the purchase was blocked by Uncle Sam. In most reviews, Quicken comes out ahead; also the customer base is much LARGER with Quicken (even though MS Money is being given away).

Fool on.
