I made a joke about Ohio, and attempted to explain a bit about its state tax structure (which really is complex compared to other states, including my home state of CA). And I further attempted to address your question directly in a second post.

I don't believe I actually expressed any opinion.

But don't worry. I will now.

I have a new operating philosophy. There are plenty of rational and smart people in the world and on the internet. Those are the people I want to engage with. They both listen to my ideas and explain theirs to me. At the first sign of non-rationality or dogmatism, I cut my losses and move on. You won't be hearing from me again.
