I mean, if gasoline was more efficient wouldn't we just start generating our home electricity with combustion generators?



because we don't make those kind of decisions based on efficiency?
but price, convenience, ... tradition?


if we'd started out with generators, could've worked

but changing over?
... large initial cost, something else that can break-down

.. how to deliver the gas?
the noise?

and we already have the infrastructure in place



[ i've never heard "electric cars are worse..." only 'different', 'not as much better as one might think..'
