I really dislike twitter, and fb, and all the rest.

I recently got off Facebook. I gave it up last year for Lent, but still sneaked peaks, and during lockdown I was on it way too much. I realized recently, though, that the negativity was bringing me down, as well as the sheer inanity of some of the stuff--I mean, I like dog videos as much as the next person, but it was a huge time-suck that I didn't even enjoy. So far, so good--I haven't missed it, just the habit of it.

Also, if you haven't watched the Netflix movie "The Social Dilemma," I highly recommend. It really made me think carefully about the stuff I put in my brain. I mean, I like computers and movies and stuff as much as the next person--maybe more--but when we get into things like the effect on brain chemistry, it's a little frightening.
