I recently did this. I bought a condo for 90k to live in for a couple years instead of paying rent. I put a lot down, and my mortgage, taxes and condo fee are about $900/month. I looked in the paper over the weekend and saw that 2 bedrooms advertised for $1200/month. So, after a couple years, hopefully I'll have saved enough for a down payment and be able to rent the condo.

It's great to finally own something, and I'm not killing myswlf with the mortgage as some of my friends are.

I'm also tempted to go out and buy another too.
