This Sunday we went to a small gathering at an old friend's house that included his wife (who I adore, she's just fab) and another couple and their three kids.

I've met the other couple a few times, usually T is hanging out with them (Softball players, and he helps them out with a charity tournament they sponsor each year). They are fun and down to earth but decidedly more T's people than mine.

It was fun. I was tired after, but what's really funny is at the end I was all "This was fun! I am glad I wasn't anti-social this time!" and the Old Friend said "That's what's funny - you are one of the most socialable people I know, and I whenever you are somewhere everyone is all 'OMG she's so much fun, why doesn't she come out more often!'" and his wife was all "because she's like me - once she's home, she's not leaving."

At any rate, I went out and peopled and it was fun but I'm probably good for another 6 months, thanks.
