I take it you're refferring to Jonestown?

Unfortunately some religious fanatics in another part of the world chose to leave the earth and take some others with them this week-end.

Darn, here in southern cali I drove by a classic car place today while the Beach Boys were on the radio singing Cherry Coup. I wish I had fortitude to know I'm not going to give into that temptation...but i could easily drop a good chunk of our net worth on a 1930's era chopped coup with twin exhausts...and these are going well north of $50K. Demand must be up with all us baby boomers wanting to re-live our teen years.

We had no idea what we had when we were kids. A friend had a used 64 mustang that he paid $1,500 for. Another had a 63 fairlane that be bought new for 3600.
I'm sure we all wished we had put them in mothballs to enjoy today.

Another buddy used to rebuild model A's. Never made them into hotrods, just re-built as close to authentic as possible...sold them in the late 60's and early 70's for $10 to $ big demand back then.

I have tried to hold off the addiction by renting a convertible once in a while for some week-end trips.
Hmmmm...maybe I should start up a company in southern Cal that rents out hot rods? Nahhh..up front cost would be a killer.
