I tend to follow O&G pretty closely though not SD. As a general rule of thumb, companies that make a habit of and or need to sell major amounts of assets typically should be viewed a bit skeptically.

Usually these guys buy rich and end up having to sell low, usually not a good way to maximize shareholder value. I don't know about SD but CHK certainly fits that bill, they'd need to show me a lot more ability than they've demonstrated before I'd believe they're worth seriously considering.
