I think I almost had the stuff to make it as a pro pitcher. Probably just a few miles per hour short on my fastball (86-88 mph instead of 90-92 mph, often the barrier to entry by baseball scouts).

The name of the game is to destroy the hitter's timing. Greg Maddux did that all the way to the HOF and he didn't throw any harder than you did.
