I think I have a crush on you, aj485. Everything you say just makes sense. It's hard to explain, but when I read your posts, it's like, "oh, of course."

I'm sick of wasting money on interest. I feel like I allowed myself to be robbed last year and am determined to turn things around this year. If I didn't have a family, I would just be eating ramen noodles for the rest of the year, working 6-7 days/week and taking the 2hr commute by bus back and forth to work. But alas, I have to feed my family something a bit healthier and they would miss me if I was gone for that long, or at least I like to think so. :)

I'm going to just send the money to Amex. It makes the most sense from a pay-off perspective.
