I think the real reason she wanted the transaction voided is because she thinks she paid too much for it. The people that bought it after the event paid $450,000 in Oct 2006. She paid $610,000 in June 2007.

$450K would have been dirt cheap for that area in 2006. $610K was in line for the area and time frame.

If the buyer had known, would she really have declined to buy?

Wouldn't surprise me. But then again, I've had to convince buyers that it was OK that the paint in only one room of the house didn't match their aesthetic. Buyers are weird. I've had ones refuse to even look at a house because it's number was 13.
