I think this thread is degenerating into a discussion where creationism advocates don't even believe in their own "theories" but keep elaborating on absurd design speculations just to tease anyone who prefers sound science over bogus postulates lacking cause and aim.

Is it really so hard to see the logic in isolated populations developing by the demonstrably available natural means to fill environmental niches where competitor and predator pressure is limited?

After all the "specialist" animals of isolated islands played a key role in inspiring Charles Darwin to his theories which have never been refuted but only refined and elaborated (since he didn't know about the nature of genes, mutations etc.)?
