I think you have to look a little deeper than just home field. Last year it didn't help the Eagles, but......there was more to it.

McNabb was coming off of a serious injury and arguably should not have been playing yet. He obviously was not up to form and that hurt them last year.

There will likely be some more home field upsets this year, I'm just hoping they're not that team again. That's why the NFL is so fun to watch though.

Don't follow NE that closely, but on the surface(plus what I've read from Pats fans here) it seems that they may have the best home field advantage this year. With the way their D steps up at home and the weather factor, they could be tough to beat.
