I think you might be a little jumpy. The five year gain is 50%. Admittedly, the top was reached in Jan 2018, and we seem to have a triple top since. Since I don't pay attention to technicals mostly, this doesn't bother me enough to be interested.

The five year gain pretty much matches the S&P for the same time frame. Someone clever or light on heir feet could have earned up to about another 10% per year selling calls.

Better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.
