I too just found this board. I've been lurking around the Buying A Home board but my husband and I close on a house in a couple of weeks so I thought I'd better find a new place to hang out.

I agree entirely with you about the Redlin/Kincade aversion. I work at a local framing shop and I can't tell you how disappointed I am whenever someone comes in clutching their latest Kincade or even P. Buckley Moss (though that is dying out) print like it is a Picasso. Also, how can anyone have the claim "The Painter of Light"? Don't we all paint light?

Sorry, I haven't read the book. I find the vast majority of art books to be nice to look at but boring to read. Anyone else have this problem? Maybe it's just me.
