I do not understand that. At one time, I was running TaxAct on a machine with Windows 95 Home on it and Microsoft Security Essentials on it and I think that had a simple firewall on it too.


I think I didn't explain myself very well. I was referring to a corporate firewall that requires a proxy server to connect to the internet. TaxAct doesn't appear to use the proxy server from your computer's internet settings and doesn't provide a setting to enter it manually.
