I voted for the bears. To paraphrase Forrest Gump, "Racist is as racist does"On Friday, McConnell also defended his record on race by noting that he attended Rev. Martin Luther King’s March on Washington. He also helped organize a civil rights march at Kentucky’s state Capitol and was present when President Lyndon Johnson signed the Voting Rights Act in 1965.Okaaay......but....McConnell rebuffed concerns among Democrats that state legislatures across the country are seeking to disenfranchise minority voters by pointing towards record-high turnout for all voters in the 2020 election.Federal legislation like the kind he and other GOP lawmakers blocked on Wednesday also wasn't necessary, he said, because the Voting Rights Act was still law and concerns over specific state voting laws could be worked out through the court system.https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/mcconnell-responds-t...Isn't the turnout in the 2020 election the POINT of the voter suppression laws being passed by the Republicans? We simply cannot make it easy to vote. Ya gotta stand in line like everybody else. Just like you do at WalMart (unless you're rich enough to have an account at Amazon). Ahhhh...."the court system." No problems there! But do me a favor and do not call it the "justice system." They seem to put the WRONG people in jail. And then there's the SUPREME Court. Thanks to McConnell and Trump it looks like voting rights and women's rights are doomed.Almost forgot. Note to Mitch: you forgot to tell us how supportive you were of President Obama.
