Hi all!

It occurred to me that there was something else I had done and completely forgot about. I had examined all of the credit card interest rates and then tried to negotiate with all of them an interest rate that would be lower. What happened was the interest rates all were different. I couldn't get my credit limits lifted so I did the next best thing... I paid off the cheapest ones and then asked for those credit card checques to move the amounts from the higher interest cards over. It helped out a lot. You see, what you want to do is to keep the bite of those interest rates from really getting at you. If you become aggressive at paying down the highest interest rate cards off, first, you'll get interest still accruing on the lower one and not be able to consolidate on the one account which is a lot more manageable.

I remember doing it this way and it worked for me. If you are lucky enough to have the co. lower the interest rate and increase your credit limit, you'll be able to pay it off at a lower cost.

In closing, always feel free to E mail me. I truly want to help everyone and would love to see everyone debt-free by the new millenium!
