I was able to take your hypergrowth screening concept
a step further at MSN Money Central and developed
a "Tornado" screen with the following parameters:

12-Month Revenue >= $50,000,000
Revenue Growth YTD vs YTD >= 100%
Revenue Growth Qtr vs Qtr >= 25%
Gross Margin >= 50%
Net Margin >= 5%

Excellent work, and a very compelling list. Will dive in tonight. I was not aware of the ability to screen for Gross Margin at MSN, thank you for pointing that out.

Personally I like the idea of lowering the bar on 12 mo revenue to $50 mil. The net margin requirement is one we could drop I think. Once you do, I bet a number of monsters such as Redback hop on board.
