I was curious about this question, so I tried to figure it out.

I got FT% data 2020-21 and 2019-20 from here: https://www.teamrankings.com/ncaa-basketball/stat/free-throw...

I deleted all the teams that didn't play this year (Ivy League) and the handful of teams who were new to Division I in each season.

What I found was:

Overall Average FT%
2019-20: 70.89%
2020-21: 70.91%

So almost no difference.

Home/Away Splits:
2019-20: H 71.61%, A 70.23%, Home Advantage: 1.37%
2020-21: H 71.39%, A 70.47%, Home Advantage: 0.92%

Again, very slight differences, and probably not a significant change either way.

Sorry fans, your yelling and sign-waving don't seem to matter much.
