I was looking at a pattern for a placemat that called for using both fusible fleece and interfacing. Unfortunately, now I can't remember which you were supposed to attach to the back first. It had you attach one, then the other on top of it. I don't know enough about what I'm doing to guess what the logical order is.

Stella, I would put the interfacing on first, then the fleece. Interfacing is usually on the inside, and fleece is usually on the outside.
HTH,
Kathleen
