I wonder, if instead of using a ziplock baggie, you cast your “Blood Mixture” into a sphere and froze it solid. Fill your brain mold about a third full of your gelatin mixture and allow it to set up. Then place your “Blood Mixture” sphere into the mold and fill with the rest of the gelatin mixture. That should give you a liquid center in the gelatin without the bag. ;-)

That could work....but I am not sure if you can freeze corn syrup.

Really, the bag is no problem. It just slips right our in a gooey bloody mess. Then you can eat your jell-o mold complete with delious sweet blood sauce.
