I'll be using the Publix delivery service to get my groceries for a while. I think grocery stores will be one of the hotspots where this thing will really spread over the next few weeks. So I'll spend more $ but hopefully stay safer.

I would say that this isn't "living above your means." You *may* be buying too much insurance, but there's so much uncertainty that we don't know right now if it's too much or not.

Too much insurance: Paying $300 more every six months for comp/collision insurance vs. Liability only on a $1200 car with $500 deductible.

Who knows if it's too much insurance: Paying a little extra to reduce exposure to disease *when all the risks aren't quantified* yet.
