I'm sorry to hear this, mtr. At the same time, it has been a long time coming. Much of the stress and anxiety is the fear of the future. Your emotions will shift when the change actually comes, and hopefully there will be a sense of relief that the unknown is finally known.

And I'm glad that you have the care of your mental health providers both at work and privately. This is obviously a very difficult time. Please take care of yourself as much as you possibly can.

I do hope that the short-term disability works out. I ALSO hope that you can find meaningful things to do with your days. Walking is a great way to start, actually. You will find a lot of things to observe in your walks.
