I've been going to a gym for over 30 years. I'm in my 70's and play golf 3 times a week. Although we are going through a cold period right now and I haven't played in two weeks normally we play a lot of golf (year round).

Here is my routine. Note that it is not geared towards golf.

Tread mill - 30 minutes
Sciatica exercise for pain in left thigh
Lay on floor and push down with butt 10 X 3
Lay on floor and rise up with butt 10 X 3
Lay on floor and pull knees to chest 10 X 3
Lay on floor and cross over 10 X 3
Sit-ups 1 X 30, 1 X 40 and 1 X 50
Machine bench press 15 X 3
Machine rowing 15 X 3
Machine sit-ups with 110# 1 X 30, 1 X 40 and 1 X 50
Stationary bike - 15 minutes
Dumbbell curls - 3 X 15
Triceps pushdowns - 3 X 15
Barbell curls - 3 X 15

I go to the gym twice a week. Please be aware that none of this seems to have helped my game as I am still a crappy golfer but I enjoy myself.
