I've been keeping the gasoline for the lawn mower, snow blower and weed wacker in the garage under the house. If I had a shed it might be out there, except in the winter I would want a supply where the snow blower is, in the garage. I use high quality plastic containers made for gasoline (and nothing else). Plastic won't rust. One five gallon, one half that size, both for regular gas. A one-gallon for gas-oil mix for the two-stroke. That was also the backup supply for the generator.
