I've long thought that patients need an advocate that is NOT economically dependent on the current healthcare system, and that would ideally be a person in a private enterprise.

I now think that an AI patient advocate, that is not financially dependent on the current healthcare system, is more ideal than a "human" patient advocate.

Like Jeff, I too think that the potential for an "AI Quantum leap", the comprehensive knowledge of all related cases, etc are compelling arguments.

As far as data security, I trust Google as much as I trust the computerized health care data systems. Perhaps more.
