If alcohol impairs your brain then why folks drink when they gamble?

I'm not sure what direction you're going but I don't know a gambler who thinks having a drink or two at the craps table would really affect anything at all.

The dice pips will come up randomly no matter how sober you are.

As to the 'rush,' gambling and alcohol stimulate similar, but different things in the brain. The alcohol effect is not the same as the oxytocin effect.

OTOH, I don't understand people who don't gamble either!
