If I want to have a rational discussion with you, then I don't see how my responses can be non-rational (ie determined).

Non-rational and determined are synonyms now? If so, doesn't the thought experiment make every human being non-rational?

What do you mean by rational besides not determined?



Would you chose a computer designed and programmed by a chimp, if you could get one made by a human?

If that were all the information available to make the choice, no, I would take the one made by a human.

Would you choose a computer that gave the right answer 75% of the time, if you could get one that gave the right answer 95% of the time (assume other variables like magnitudes or timing of errors are equal)? Why or why not?
