If Rambus is a Gorilla, it might be the weakest of all enabling Gorillas. It is most susceptible to threat of substitution by a
competing discontinuous innovation and because, even without that threat, it is riding the winds of a tornado powered in part
by Intel. The further Rambus's product is adopted by the non-Intel camp (such as PlayStation) the more removed the
company is from the grasp of Intel's clutches.

Don't disagree at all. As I mentioned, IMHO RMBS did not achieve its status through the standard (normal?) method, but rather was boosted there by Intel. If there is such a thing as a Paper Gorilla this might be it...
