If reliability and JUST reliability was the issue, I'd take the Infiniti, the Honda, or the Toyota. (Infiniti has very good customer satisfaction as well, once you get past the car being very expensive to begin with.)

The Audi A4 is on that same blasted platform the beguiles VW, the same as the Jetta, Golf, New Beetle, and Audi Speedster. Run, do not walk, away from this car.

No opinion on the BMW.

But there are so many other cars out there that could easily last you the 10 to 15 years and be 95% reliable as opposed to the 99% reliable level of the Honda and Toyota. Maybe a Mazda6 four-door sedan can fit the bill? A Nissan Altima? A Buick LeSabre?

I have had one Honda Accord myself and it was nice, dependable, efficient...and about as exciting as a toaster. Remember, ya want to live with this car for 10 to 15 years, you might as well make sure you've looked at cars you like and can fit the bill.
