If the stock in question is in a non-taxable account, that dividend would be desireable. Money in hand beats potential gains in this case.Okay, I can see your point about the non-taxable account, but IMO, if you believe that you'd rather have the money in hand than invested in the stock, you should just sell the stock.-Doug
