If there is one TMF board that symbolizes "group think" it's "Mishedlo." For years the board and it's uberfuhrer, Mike Shedlock, have been forecasting the collapse of the U.S. economy only to discover that others know something that most "Mishedlo" contributors don't; that there's at least two sides to every story.

If you're looking for reasons to move out of America with your pushcart of gold bricks the "Mishedlo" board is for you. However, if you want to make money in the stock market try the AAPL board.

====================

Define collapse.

How about the Nasdaq going from 5k+ to 1200. How about millions of job losses. How about trillions in lost stock market wealth. How about the dollar falling, falling, falling ... How about the Fed lowering interest rates and flooding the economy with easy money to keep this ship afloat. How about other countries turning to the Euro for their reserves instead of the dollar. How about the doubling of the price of oil. How about the huge budget deficits and the national debt galloping to 8 trillion. How about 80 trillion dollars in leveraged derivatives. How about Warren Buffet investing 20 billion in foreign currencies.

Looks like a perfect storm to me, and if the economy hasn't collapsed yet, it sure has been flirting with disaster for the last 4 years and we are no ways out of the woods yet.
