Since it sounds like you are already dealing with the tenants personally as part of setting up the whole deal, don't they already know who you are, and that you are the owner? My understanding is that a land trust accomplishes nothing except making it slightly harder to find out who really owns the property.[/i]

Yes, the model home owner is a family member. However, the renter of the second house is not.
