I'm a little oil producer myself. I see no shock from my peers. Every oil man worth his salt has seen prices go up and down and knows not to get too bent out of shape either way. Of course there are a few speculators that have joined the business in the last couple years that could probably use a change of diaper about now.

Since my job is primarily finding new acquisitions, I'm just about to the point where it's time to start calling people and find out who's scared to death that oil will drop to $40. It's amazing how much better it is to negotiate a purchase with someone who's scared to death!
