I'm happy to report, however, that the French Quarter is recovering. Even in the past month, several bars, clubs, and restaurants have finally re-opened their doors. Places which have been open since October (with reduced hours, because of lack of staff), have returned to more "normal" hours.

I was down there during christmas.

Had a blast.

Went to Tchoup-n-Joes one evening after the holiday, and met several people in the "industry".

My BIL manages Utopia, down on Bourbon, near Canal. If you pass by, stop in; he's usually up in the sound booth. His name is Gil. Tell him Karen's brother said hey.

Not Afraid.

Trying to make it to Mardi Gras. Will settle for the Jazz Fest.
