I'm looking for a good online retirement calculator. The ones I have found don't really do a good job of factoring in my pension.

All of the good retirement calculators I've used require a login to access them. I'm sure a few people here have good suggestions.

Since I work for state gov't, I'm not worried about losing it.

I wanted to comment on this. My mother gave up a much higher salary and benefits to land a state job - just for the pension. She was concerned about retirement, and apparently hadn't saved enough. The day she received her offer, the big local news story was about how state pensions were in great jeopardy. It wasn't just sensationalism - this was the real deal. Never assume that free money will be there. To make matters worse, she was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer just weeks later - far before her 90-day probationary period expired. She was caught without health insurance, without life insurance, and without vacation or sick time. If her pension is ever activated, it will be based on less than 2 months of service.
