In Missouri to qualify for Medicaid your annual income must be less than $3,000. We should do better.

Wow....that would be exclusive of just about everybody...but I don't think that's right. From the MO Medicaid's web site, for uninsured women at least age 18....

This program provides MO HealthNet coverage for women’s health services to uninsured women ages 18 up to but not including age 56 whose family’s modified adjusted gross income (MAGI) does not exceed 201% of the federal poverty level for their household size.

So if I'm reading this right, for a single person, the Federal poverty level is a MAGI of $12,880, so one would qualify if their MAGI is less than $25,760, not $3,000.
